Pismo Coast Village strives to maintain excellent public relations with the local business community, and state and national industry associations. Pismo Coast Village participates in the local community and industry affiliations in numerous ways. Here are some examples:
National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds (ARVC)
Jay Jamison, Chief Executive Officer/General Manager, has served on the ARVC Board of Directors as Treasurer and as a representative for the ten western states. Charles Amian is currently serving on the ARVC Board of Directors.
California Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds (CalARVC)
Charles Amian, Operations Manager, is a Past President of CalARVC. Darrell Sisk, Reservations Supervisor, is also a Past President of CalARVC and currently serves on its Board of Directors.

Jay Jamison, Chief Executive Officer/General Manager is a Past President of VisitSLOCal and currently serves on its Board of Directors.
Pismo Beach Conference and Visitors Bureau
Jay Jamison, Chief Executive Officer/General Manager, served as a commissioner on the Pismo Beach Conference and Visitors Bureau from February 1998 to February 2010, ten years of which were as chair.
American Red Cross
Jay Jamison, Chief Executive Officer/General Manager, was installed in June 2002 as a Director on the Board for the San Luis Obispo County Chapter of the American Red Cross, and served two years as chair.
California Travel and Tourism Commission
Jay Jamison, Chief Executive Officer/General Manager, was elected to serve as a commissioner on the California Travel and Tourism Commission, which markets California to potential domestic and international visitors, a position he still holds.

Local Business Community
Pismo Coast Village is active with community service agencies which foster good public relations. These community service agencies include the Pismo Beach Fire and Police Departments, Pismo Beach and San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce, Pismo Beach Conference and Visitors Bureau.
Local Area Events
Pismo Coast Village sponsors and assists with many local events which promote travel and tourism for Pismo Beach. This is a list of events with which PCV assists on an annual basis: the VIntage Trailer Rally, Pismo Beach Classic Car Show, Clam Festival, Jubilee by the Sea, Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run, and the annual Pismo Coast Village Special Children’s Christmas Party.
